Ministry of Education and Training Maintains the 2025 High School Graduation Exam Schedule
After considering various factors, the Ministry of Education and Training has decided to retain the previously announced schedule for the 2025 high school graduation exam, as outlined in the academic plan for the 2024-2025 school year.
On March 20, the Department of Quality Management, Ministry of Education and Training (MOET), signed a document to inform the Departments of Education and Training in Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh City, Ninh Binh, Nghe An, and Quang Tri about the dates for the 2025 high school graduation exam.

Accordingly, after receiving documents from the Departments of Education and Training regarding the proposal to adjust the schedule for the 2025 high school graduation exam, the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) has issued the following response:
The MOET acknowledges and appreciates the proactive efforts of the Departments of Education and TrainÂn quay chụping in proposing adjustments to the high school graduation exam schedule to meet local needs and other practical circumstances.
After considering various factors, the MOET has decided to maintain the originally announced schedule for the 2025 high school graduation exam, as outlined in the academic plan for the 2024-2025 school year (as per Decision 2045/QD-BGDDT dated August 1, 2024). The decision to keep the previously announced schedule aims to stabilize the mindset of students and parents and ensure that other educational activities are not disrupted.
The MOET requests the Departments of Education and Training to closely coordinate with relevant units to implement the 2024-2025 academic plan, conduct the 2025 high school graduation exam according to the established schedule, and ensure the exam is held safely, seriously, and in compliance with regulations.
According to the announced plan, the 2025 high school graduation exam will take place on June 26 and 27, 2025. Candidates will take four exams including 2 compulsory subjects which are Mathematics, Literature and subjects which are 2 chosen from the remaining subjects taught in grade 12: Foreige Languages, History, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Economics and Law Education, Information Technology and Technology.
2025 will be the first year that 12th-grade students take the high school graduation exam under the 2018 General Education Program.
